Job summary

IMEG Corporation seeks a Field Engineer to provide on-site construction observation and coordination for data center projects. Role requires representing the owner's interests, coordinating with architects and contractors, and ensuring alignment with contract documents and schedules.

The candidate will track RFIs, submittals, and revisions, monitor safety and code compliance, and help prepare reports for senior management. Travel up to 100% and a full-time remote work schedule are noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 2 years minimum field experience; 4 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site presence to represent the owner's interest during construction.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders; document meeting minutes.
• Write daily construction status reports including delays, issues, and inspections.
• Review and interpret contract documents; obtain needed information from design engineers.
• Issue and track project deficiency reports; provide constructability feedback.
• Monitor RFI and submittal progression and communicate critical path items to field and design team.
