Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Field Construction Administrator for on-site oversight in Austin, TX, supporting data center projects. The role emphasizes coordination among contractors, engineers, and clients, with travel up to 100% and a focus on field observations, reporting, and contract compliance.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of relevant field experience, an associates degree or certificate in construction management or engineering, and strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum construction/field experience, 3 preferred.
• Associates degree or certificate in construction management or engineering preferred; 4–6 years related experience.
• Field experience or skilled trades a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site presence to represent the owner's interest.
• Perform site observations and relay information to contractors/engineers.
• Inform design engineers of status, problems, and liability issues.
• Verify progress matches contract documents and workmanship standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Document meeting minutes and daily construction reports.
• Review and clarify contract documents with design teams.
• Issue and track deficiency reports and revisions.
• Coordinate construction coordination issues with architects and engineers.
• Track drawings, revisions, RFIs, and submittals; address critical path items.
• Assist in resolving issues, support closeout documentation, ensure safety compliance, prepare progress summaries.
