Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks an experienced Facilities Manager for onsite leadership in Roanoke, VA. You will coordinate with senior leadership, oversee vendors, and drive cost-efficient operations while delivering excellent client satisfaction.

You will manage budgets, capital projects, and KPI tracking, ensuring safety and quality standards are met across facilities teams and contractors. This role emphasizes strategic oversight with hands-on operational execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis.
• 5+ years of industry experience in corporate environments, third-party service providers, or consulting roles.
• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to manage both technical and administrative staff.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Computer proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

Responsibilities

• Support the Sr. Facilities Manager and Regional Facilities Manager in executing short and long-term goals, projects, and strategic initiatives for the client.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all facilities-related documentation in accordance with client policies.
• Manage work assignments and performance of building technicians, vendors, and contractors to ensure service delivery meets established standards.
• Lead facilities staff to achieve expected service levels within prescribed budgets while maintaining high client satisfaction.
• Develop and manage capital and expense budgets through close collaboration with client representatives, preparing operating budget reports and monthly variance analyses.
• Recommend capital improvements and implement innovative processes that optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure contractor compliance with all client and JLL policies during on-site service delivery, maintaining safety and quality standards.
