Job summary

JLL is seeking a Facilities Manager to serve as the single point of contact for facilities management for a major client in Roanoke, VA. You will combine strategic planning with hands-on operations, coordinating tenant needs, service delivery, and cost-saving programs to improve productivity and client satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in facilities management or related field, 5+ years of corporate facilities experience, and strong leadership, communication, and budgeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Facilities Management with leadership/technical emphasis.
• 5+ years of industry experience in corporate environments, third-party service providers, or consulting roles.
• Proven ability to lead technical and administrative staff.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Support senior management in executing short- and long-term client goals.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual facilities reporting.
• Manage technicians, vendors, and contractors to meet standards of service delivery.
• Lead staff to achieve service levels within budgets and maintain client satisfaction.
• Develop and manage operating budgets with client representatives and monthly variance analyses.
• Recommend capital improvements and implement processes to reduce costs.
• Ensure contractor compliance with client and JLL policies, safety and quality.
