Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center environment, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth events.

You will troubleshoot equipment and software, coordinate with clients and hotel staff, and assist with invoicing and Navigator entries to finalize orders.

The role requires physical stamina to lift equipment and a professional appearance in a hospitality setting. Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
• Exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Monitor events and check in on customers throughout the day.
• Understand and foster the hotel/client relationship.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and software issues; handle equipment challenges promptly.
