Job summary

Encore is hiring a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel environment, ensuring guest satisfaction. You will report to the Operations Manager or Director, Event Technology, and work on-site with clients.

The role emphasizes customer service, technical troubleshooting, and accurate paperwork. A driver’s license is often required, with some travel and lifting up to 50 lbs as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• External applicants must meet training and certifications per Encore's paths.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality preferred.
• 1 year of AV experience or equivalent in education environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment.
• Delivers high level customer service and maintains client relationships on-site.
• Troubleshoots basic equipment and software issues.
• Completes order entries in Navigator and follows company processes.
