Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems within a hotel/convention center environment. You’ll ensure flawless events, assist clients on site, and troubleshoot equipment to meet guest expectations.

The role requires basic AV knowledge, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a customer-focused approach in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Training and certifications are provided through Encore’s programs.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the qualifications.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues promptly and professionally.
• Enter orders in Navigator and assist with invoicing when needed.
• Upsell equipment and services to increase event revenue.
