Requirements include a high school diploma and 0–2 years in hospital or customer service settings. Bilingual English/Spanish is a nice-to-have; shifts include 12-hour and 8-hour days with rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent (GED).
• 0-2 years of hospital, medical, clinical or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate registration, arrival, and check-in for patients.
• Collect patient, demographic, and insurance information to ensure complete registration.
• Obtain patient signatures and information at arrival.
• Perform real-time insurance eligibility and benefits verification.
• Explain financial requirements and collect patient portion at point of service.
• Perform cash handling and refer to Financial Counseling as needed.
• Ensure hospital collection activities meet department requirements.
• Work shifts in Emergency Admitting; rotating weekends/holidays.
