Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Part Time Patient Access Representative for 32+ hours per week, onsite at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, CA. You will perform pre-admitting, admitting and/or registering tasks, escorting patients and acting as an advocate for efficient access to services.

The role emphasizes patient-first service with rotating weekends and holidays. Prior hospital or healthcare customer service experience and bilingual English/Spanish are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 0-2 prior relevant experience in a medical/clinical/dental/hospital setting OR customer service setting.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (Nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, timely, courteous registration services to ensure a high level of customer service.
• Create a positive impression for each patient, family member, visitor or staff while performing pre-admitting, admitting and/or registering, routing or escorting patients, family or visitors.
• Assist patients and their families in accessing services acting as an advocate and navigator until the patient is handed off to clinical staff.
• This is a Part Time opening, 32 hours plus per week. Varied Day Shift.
• Shift: 8:30am hour shifts ON SITE at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, CA - with rotating weekends & holidays
