Job summary
Beacon Hill is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on support for Windows and macOS users in a fast-paced enterprise environment. You will configure and image desktops, manage software deployments, and assist end users while ensuring security and asset accuracy.
The role is 100% onsite in San Diego, requiring strong customer service and familiarity with AD, Office 365, and endpoint management tools. A proactive problem-solver with excellent communication will thrive.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of desktop or technical support experience.
- Strong Windows 10/11 knowledge and macOS experience.
- Experience with AD user management and Office 365.
- Proficient in imaging, deployment and endpoint management.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Windows and macOS systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and application issues.
- Configure, deploy, image and maintain desktops and laptops.
- Support Office 365 and related productivity apps.
- Perform software installations, updates and security patching.
- Maintain asset records and hardware lifecycle activities.
- Document issues, solutions and procedures; assist with escalations.
