Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Level 2 Desktop Technician for an onsite role in Solon, Ohio. You will provide end-user support and serve as the hands and feet for IT implementations and ongoing support.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of deskside PC support, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience with Windows, basic Mac, imaging, AD, and MS Office 365. Excellent customer service is a must. This role requires independence and collaboration with vendors and local teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of deskside PC support and customer service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.
• Experience assisting with IT system implementations.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, Mac, imaging, Active Directory and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 deskside and remote support for Windows-based systems
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and chat
• Serve as the primary point of contact for IT vendors during system implementations
• Assist with testing IT implementations, including network access, wireless connectivity, and telephony
• Coordinate and manage relationships between IT vendors and local client support teams
