Job summary

CompuscomStaffing is hiring an onsite Level 2 Desktop Technician for our client in Woodridge, IL. The role covers end-user support across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, with emphasis on Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and device deployment.

You will work with Site Tech teams, manage incidents, and ensure smooth IT operations in a manufacturing environment. The position requires 3+ years of end-user support experience, strong customer service, and familiarity with ITSM tools like

Qualifications

• 3+ years of desktop/end-user technical support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
• Experience with ITSM/ticketing platforms (ServiceNow or similar).
• Basic TCP/IP networking and device troubleshooting.
• Experience with printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite deskside support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot Windows and application issues; deliver 365 support.
• Assist with account access, device setup, and end-user needs.
• Provide VIP and executive-level technical support as required.
• Image, configure, and deploy devices; lifecycle management.
• Maintain asset inventory and support device patching and security.
• Support printers, label printers, scanners, and other tech.
• Set up conference rooms and AV equipment; support OT and lab systems.
• Manage incidents and requests; meet SLAs; document tickets.
