Job summary

eXcell seeks a Level 2 Desktop Technician to join the onsite team in Woodridge, IL. You will be the primary local resource for end users, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and site infrastructure initiatives.

You will image, deploy, and refresh devices, troubleshoot Windows issues, provide Microsoft 365 support, and ensure security and policy compliance while delivering high-quality customer service in a manufacturing-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of desktop, deskside, field, or end-user support experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Proficiency with ITSM and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite deskside support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, applications, and peripherals.
• Deliver Microsoft 365 and productivity app support.
• Assist users with account access and device setup.
• Provide VIP and executive-level technical support as needed.
• Image, configure, deploy, and refresh devices.
• Maintain asset inventory and lifecycle records.
• Set up and support conference rooms and AV equipment.
• Provide onsite "smart hands" for infrastructure teams.
• Manage incidents and service requests through ticketing systems.
