Job summary

CompucomStaffing, a division of CompuCom Systems, Inc., is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our client onsite in Longmont, CO to provide end-user support.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of desktop and infrastructure support, strong written and verbal communication, and experience with Windows OS, printers, and network basics. You will diagnose, repair, and resolve hardware and software issues, manage user accounts, and document incidents in ticketing systems.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent IT experience.
• 3+ years of related field experience.
• Desktop/Infrastructure support experience.
• VIP/White glove support experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Windows OS, networks, databases, and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware, software and systems failures.
• Install/repair computers and peripherals (PCs, laptops, printers, servers).
• Manage user accounts and permissions.
• Document issues in ticketing systems.
• Communicate with customers at all levels.
• Provide SLA-based status updates.
• Serve as first escalation point for complex problems.
• Follow SOPs and knowledge management.
• Collaborate across the organization.
