Job summary

CompucomStaffing is recruiting a Desktop Support Technician to join the client team onsite in Peebles, OH. You will provide end-user support, repair and image PCs, and assist with server and network maintenance at the customer site.

The role requires strong hardware skills, enterprise tech familiarity (Office 365, Windows 10 Pro), and experience with ticketing systems. Excellent customer service and ability to work face-to-face with end users are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting PC hardware and software, comfortability with limited support for servers and network equipment.
• Experience with asset management
• Use a confident, positive attitude to deliver great customer experience and to be invigorated by constant personal interaction.
• Demonstrate high energy in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of diagnosing, troubleshooting, replacing PC/laptop hardware internal components (motherboard, hard drives, RAM, CPU), and troubleshooting PC software (Windows blue-screen, Outlook, connect network printers).
• Working/strong understanding of enterprise technologies (Office 365, Win10 Pro, imaging, and ticketing systems).
• Experience supporting applications related to engineering, manufacturing, and logistics is a plus.
• Server and network support within an enterprise. Hands & Feet support.

Responsibilities

• Repair, test, image and clean PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, and other related hardware.
• Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot software and peripherals; set up, configure, and add hardware.
• Perform installs, moves, adds, and changes; large IMAC events for printer migration and PC refreshes.
• Ensure all tickets requiring follow-up are addressed.
• Assist with server equipment maintenance, upgrades, patches, and configurations.
• Perform backup, recovery, and security procedures; assist with outages reporting.
