The Level I Desktop Technician role is onsite in Irving, TX, delivering on-site hardware and software support for laptops, desktops, tablets, printers, and mobile devices to internal and external customers. As the first point of contact, you will document incidents in the ticketing system, communicate with users at all levels, and escalate complex issues to

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and MS Office.
• Desktop and/or Infrastructure support experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience using ticketing systems and documenting work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures.
• Install, repair and support PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, and networking gear.
• Manage user accounts and permissions, including password resets.
• Maintain clear notes and updates in the ticketing system.
• Communicate with customers across technical and non-technical staff.
• Provide SLA-based status updates and escalate complex issues.
• Follow SOPs and collaborate with colleagues across the organization.
• Assist with on-site visits and technical tasks as required.
