Job summary

Compucom Systems, Inc. is seeking a Level I Desktop Technician to provide onsite support in San Antonio, TX.

You will diagnose and repair hardware, software, and network issues across laptops, desktops, tablets, printers, and servers, while maintaining clear ticketing documentation. The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent IT experience, strong customer communication skills, and familiarity with Windows OS, networking, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or equivalent IT experience.
• Experience with desktop/infrastructure support.
• Ability to manage user accounts and passwords.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses hardware, software, and systems failures.
• Install and service computer hardware, printers, laptops, servers.
• Manage user accounts and permissions, password resets.
• Update tickets with notes and documentation.
• Communicate with customers at various skill levels.
• Escalate complex issues to L2 or managers.
• Follow SOPs and knowledge management.
