Job summary
Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join one of our clients' internal IT teams. This role provides hands‑on technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and connectivity, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
You will handle workstation setup, imaging, Microsoft 365 support, user accounts, password resets, and basic AV for meetings; travel between Tampa‑area offices as needed.
Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of hands‑on Desktop Support or End User Support experience.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows workstations and laptops.
- Experience with hardware setup, imaging and device troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong customer service and communication for non‑technical users.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands‑on technical support to end users for desktop, laptop, mobile devices, printers, and connectivity.
- Handle workstation setup, imaging, configuration, account assistance and password resets.
- Support Microsoft 365 and peripheral devices; assist with basic AV for meetings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tickets with a focus on a customer‑first experience.
- Travel between Tampa area offices as needed and work onsite.
