Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. in Petersburg, VA is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to deliver deskside and walk-up support for PCs, printers, video conference equipment, and other IT hardware and software.

The role includes imaging new PCs, setting up cellular devices, remote assistance for offsite users, inventory control, and working with the IT Infrastructure team to ensure smooth operations for onsite and remote customers.

Competenze

• Associate's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology required.
• Two years IT experience; customer-facing preferred.
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting for desktops and laptops; AV knowledge a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide deskside and walk-up support for PCs, printers, video conference equipment, and other IT hardware/software.
• Use remote management to assist end users working offsite.
• Imaging of new PCs and clients for back-office and manufacturing system use.
• Set up and support of cellular devices for end users.
• Inventory control of patch cables, video cables, peripherals and other IT items.
• Assist in ordering and receiving equipment as required.
• Comply with internal and external regulations and procedures; follow safety and environmental requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
