TEKsystems seeks a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite end-user support in Frankfort, KY. You will install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and related tech in a professional, customer-focused environment.

You will handle hardware deployments, imaging, and ticket-based issue resolution while collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely solutions and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop, technical, or end-user support.
• Strong troubleshooting for hardware, software, and workstation issues.
• Experience configuring, installing, and supporting desktops and mobile devices.
• Familiarity with OS, productivity apps, and business technologies.
• Experience with service requests or incident management systems.
• Basic understanding of network connectivity and troubleshooting concepts.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced support environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for end users experiencing hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve OS, application, and workstation problems.
• Support hardware replacements, upgrades, and equipment deployments.
• Respond to and document support requests through a ticket system.
• Assist users with account access, software functionality, and tech issues.
• Perform setup, configuration, imaging, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity and coordinate escalations.
• Support printers, peripherals, and other end-user devices.
• Maintain documentation of incidents, resolutions, and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal tech teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
