Harvey Nash is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site IT support in Frankfort, KY. The role focuses on resolving hardware and software issues, assisting users, and maintaining workstations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service, solid troubleshooting skills, and experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow. You will configure, install, and deploy equipment, respond to tickets, and ensure smooth IT operations.

Qualifications

Experience with computer setup, configuration, and installation.
Knowledge of desktop hardware and software support.
Experience with ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow
Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site desktop and technical support to end users
Configure, install, and deploy computer hardware and related equipment
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues
Respond to and manage support tickets using a ticketing system (ServiceNow preferred)
Assist with workstation setup, upgrades, and replacements
Deliver exceptional customer service and technical assistance
