Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Desktop Support Technician for a Maryville, TN site to provide first-level IT support to on-site users, manage tickets, imaging, printer issues, and basic network troubleshooting. The role requires walking across campus to assist both manufacturing and office staff and communicating professionally with all stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have strong hardware knowledge, Windows/Active Directory skills, and experience with Office 365.

Qualifications

• Experience with thermal printers would be great.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication with end users, coworkers, executives, and business contacts.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for tickets via walk-up, email, and service desk.
• Support all on-site users and assist with basic production systems troubleshooting.
• Handle imaging, printer jams, and routine hardware/software repairs.
• Work across multiple buildings on campus and communicate professionally.
