TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site IT support in Evansville, IN. This contract role focuses on assisting end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining computer systems to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include first-point support by phone or in person, remote troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment inventories. The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows 10, Microsoft 365, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Experience providing IT end-user support and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows 10 and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Ability to document issues and resolutions in a helpdesk system.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line technical support via phone, email, or in person.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues and remote diagnostics.
• Install, configure, and upgrade Windows 10 and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Document events and resolutions in the helpdesk system and manage inventory.
