Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Desktop Support Technician in Madison, WI to provide hands-on end-user support in a fast-paced enterprise environment. You will troubleshoot desktops, devices, and Microsoft 365 apps while delivering excellent customer service.

This contract role requires 2–4 years of desktop support experience and strong Windows troubleshooting skills. You will work with ServiceNow or Jira Service Management, assist with onboarding and hardware refreshes, and ensure SLA targets are met.

Qualifications

2–4 years of desktop support or similar IT support experience.
Strong troubleshooting of Windows-based environments.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and enterprise IT support.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and connectivity issues.
Support Microsoft 365 apps including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Document incidents and resolutions in a ticketing system.
Install, configure, deploy, and maintain end-user hardware and software.
Assist with onboarding, hardware refreshes, and office relocations.
