Job summary

TEKsystems in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a customer‑focused IT Support Technician to join our team in a healthcare environment. You will troubleshoot technology issues, provide hands‑on support, and deliver an excellent end‑user experience.

Responsibilities include desktop and laptop deployments, imaging, hardware refreshes, on‑site support, asset tracking, and documenting issues and resolutions. You will work with IT colleagues and follow security standards, with occasional travel to regional

Qualifications

Experience in desktop support, field services, service desk, or technical support.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments.
Ability to troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Basic understanding of networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting.
Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform laptop and desktop deployments, refreshes, imaging, setup, and configuration.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and Windows-related issues.
Provide on-site technical support to end users while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Track and maintain equipment inventory and asset records.
Document service requests, technical issues, and resolutions.
Collaborate with IT team members to escalated and resolve more complex technical problems.
Follow organizational IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
Travel periodically to other regional locations as business needs require.
