Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our on-site team in Saint Paul, MN. The role focuses on coordinating scheduling, frontline technical support, and triaging calls within the Corporate Technical Service Call Center.

The position requires a two-year degree and 1+ year of experience in a mechanical/electrical trade or technical call center, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• A two-year degree, typically in a related field, is required.
• One or more years of work experience in a mechanical/electrical trade or a technical service call center is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer scheduling through outbound calls.
• Partner with other departments to triage calls and manage schedule changes.
• Provide frontline telephone technical support through the Corporate Technical Service Call Center.
• Answer basic technical questions on equipment installation, product application, and cleaning or sanitation problems.
• Perform basic programming and chemical calibrations on automated controllers.
• Develop a basic knowledge of pool pumps, filters, and circulation systems.
• Develop technical knowledge of available dispensing equipment and dishmachine parts to make part recommendations.
• Communicate with Technical Service staff on part number or equipment specification changes.
• Develop a basic knowledge of proprietary and commercially available software systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
