Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a mid-level Desktop Support Technician (Level 2) to provide hands-on end-user support onsite in Austin, TX. This six-month contract to hire role pays 30–35 per hour, depending on experience.

You will own escalations, perform Tier 2 break/fix, manage onboarding/offboarding, software installs, imaging and deployments, VoIP support, and contribute to process improvements while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Level 2 Desktop Support role.
• Proficiency with BigFix for patching and deployments.
• Experience with Jira for incident management and documentation.
• IAM with Active Directory and hybrid Azure/Azure AD.
• Strong Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 support.

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve escalations from Level 1 support.
• Provide Tier 2 break/fix support and identify patterns.
• Manage user onboarding and offboarding.
• Handle software installation, uninstallation, and troubleshooting.
• Image and deploy PCs and laptops, including driver management.
• Support VoIP systems like RingCentral or Microsoft Teams.
• Support projects and contribute to process improvements.
• Mentor Level 1 technicians.
