Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in Ft Mitchell, Kentucky, is seeking a Desktop Support specialist for a 12+ month onsite role. You will provide desktop support to agency users both remotely and in person, install and troubleshoot desktops, and perform basic network troubleshooting in a Windows-based environment.

This position requires 1–2 years of desktop support experience, strong customer service, and the ability to lift heavy equipment.

Qualifications

1-2+ years of desktop support experience in a Windows environment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Experience with: Desktop installation and deployment; Troubleshooting and technical support; Hardware and software repair; Windows operating systems; Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
Ability to work in uncomfortable positions for extended periods when necessary.

Responsibilities

Provide desktop support to agency users both remotely and in person.
Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops and related hardware/software in a Windows-based environment.
Perform basic network troubleshooting.
Deliver excellent customer service while supporting end users.
Travel within the service area as needed.
