Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Desktop Support Technician in Newark, DE, onsite. The role requires organized, detail-focused individuals with strong follow-up skills to handle desktop support in a client-facing capacity.

The position emphasizes risk-aware handling of requests, end-user communication, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams. Training is provided to support success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a large-scale enterprise support environment (500+ users).
• Experience in a high-volume request environment.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with command line and/or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to email and telephone inquiries in a customer-service-oriented manner.
• Utilize request management tools like Remedy to engage support teams and vendors for corrective actions.
• Perform break-fix troubleshooting for Windows Operating Systems (10/11), Microsoft Office Suite, internet connectivity, GPO, and printers.
• Conduct physical activities, including installing/de-installing large monitors and lifting desktops while managing cables.
• Manage multiple issues simultaneously and meet performance targets for Move/Add/Change (MAC) requests.
• Communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical audiences.
