Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. in Orlando seeks a Desktop Services Technician to deliver technical support for corporate and remote locations, covering PCs, mobile devices, peripherals and applications. This onsite role requires hands-on problem solving and project involvement under supervision.

Qualifications

Associate degree required.
2 years' experience in Information Technology.
Strong technical acumen on Desktop and/or Application technologies.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Basic understanding of information technology security principles.
Basic understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and procedures.
Windows 10/11 administration: Installation, configuration, updates, drivers, etc.
macOS familiarity.
Microsoft Office 365 Intune.
TCP/IP basics: IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, general connectivity troubleshooting.
PC hardware troubleshooting.
Printer setup and break/fix.
Mobile device basics (iOS and Android).
Active Directory basics: Password resets, group membership, etc.
Remote Desktop tools (i.e. Bomgar, TeamViewer, etc).
Basic virtualization knowledge (Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, etc).
Basic Cloud fundamentals.
2 years’ experience within the Information Technology field.
Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as Intune and Jamf.

Responsibilities

Monitor ticket systems and complete basic PC build/deployments (30% time).
Perform IMAC tasks to meet customer needs (15% time).
Provide timely support and ensure tickets meet SLAs (10% time).
Assist Desktop Services team with basic requests and setup (15% time).
Complete other tasks as directed by supervisor or senior staff (10% time).
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency support (10% time).
Must lift objects up to ~50 lbs (5% time).
Must stoop, bend, climb ladders, pull wire, kneel and crawl to make repairs (5% time).
Travel 15% for resort or office-specific desktop needs.
