Job summary

Diverse Lynx LLC in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hardware and software support for employees and new hires on an onsite basis. The role includes imaging, troubleshooting, asset management, and coordination with external vendors.

Central to this position is excellent customer service and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment. The role requires travel between company locations up to approximately 150 miles per trip, with business mileage reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Minimum IT experience with technical training.
• Proficient in Windows and macOS across devices.
• Familiar with TCP/IP and Windows networking.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Image and install software on Windows and Mac laptops/desktops including IMAC and Remote support.
• Troubleshoot post deployment issues on Windows, Macintosh and mobile devices.
• Printer break-fix and installation.
• Disposal, redeployment and asset reclaim.
• Data backup and recovery coordination.
• Hardware refresh and warranty management.
• Walk up and depot services support.
• Coordinate with external vendors for dispatch support.
• Open and close service requests and manage ticket lifecycle.
• Asset tagging and entry into asset management system.
• Onboard incoming new hires and ensure proper hardware allocation.
