Cognizant is seeking a Desktop Engineer Intern to provide hands-on, onsite IT support, ensuring end users stay productive and devices run smoothly. You’ll join the internal IT support team and collaborate with site staff and colleagues.

The role is onsite at client or Cognizant offices in Hooksett, NH, requiring 20 hours per week and strong attention to detail. Start Oct 2026 and duration 9–12 months are anticipated.

Qualifications

• Currently attending a 2-year or 4-year accredited college or university, pursuing a STEM major.
• Availability to work part-time, 20 hours per week, onsite.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between HQ and Retail locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for basic hardware issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Support printers and related devices, including label and receipt printers.
• Configure new desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals per SOPs.
• Review and update SOPs; create new SOPs for defined processes.
