Job summary

Cognizant in Boston, MA is seeking an IT Field Services Engineer to provide hands-on end-user support, device provisioning, and incident resolution on-site.

You will deploy and manage mobile devices with MDM tools, handle printer and conference room tech, and collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex issues. On-call duties and thorough documentation in the ticketing system are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT end-user support across multiple channels (phone, email, in-person).
• Familiarity with device provisioning, account setup, and software installation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, remote desktop tools, and in-person visits.
• Assist with user onboarding, including account setup, device provisioning, and software installation.
• Deploy and manage mobile devices using MDM tools such as Jamf and Intune.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Document all support activities in the ticketing system and update CMDB/ServiceNow as needed.
