Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Desktop Technician for an onsite role in Greenwood, SC. You will serve as the primary local resource supporting end users, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and site infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities include deskside support, Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and ITSM ticketing (ServiceNow). You will manage device imaging, deployment, asset lifecycle, and collaborate with site leadership to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of desktop/ end-user support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and 365 apps.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ticketing.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite deskside support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues affecting desktops, laptops, workstations, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, applications, and peripheral devices.
• Deliver Microsoft 365 and business productivity support.
• Assist end users with account access, device setup, and day-to-day tech support.
• Provide VIP and executive-level support as required.
• Image, configure, deploy, and replace desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Perform hardware upgrades, break/fix repairs, and warranty coordination.
• Maintain asset inventory records and lifecycle processes.
• Support device patching, compliance, and security requirements.
• Set up, maintain, and support conference rooms and AV equipment.
