Job summary

CompucomStaffing in Sumter, SC is seeking a Level 2 Desktop Technician for onsite end-user support. You will be the primary local resource for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and site infrastructure, delivering hands-on troubleshooting and deployment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience in enterprise IT support, strong Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 knowledge, and familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow. Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of end-user technical support experience.
• Strong Windows 10/11 knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft Office/365.
• Proficiency with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
• Experience with printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite deskside support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS and peripheral devices; support Microsoft 365.
• Assist end users with account access and device setup.
• Provide VIP and executive-level technical support as needed.
• Image, configure, deploy, and refresh desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobiles.
• Maintain asset inventory and support patching and security requirements.
• Support printers, label printers, scanners, and OT systems as directed.
• Coordinate with network teams and support ticketing systems to resolve incidents.
• Ensure SLAs are met and communicate effectively with users and leadership.
