Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a Contract IT Service Desk Support Technician for an onsite role in Mobile, AL. This 3-month contract with potential for full-time conversion focuses on hands-on desktop deployments and end-user support in a healthcare technology environment.

You will configure and image dozens of desktops/laptops, perform setup and software installs, and assist with data transfer during a workstation rollout. Strong communication and troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying desktops/laptops in a professional setting.
• Familiarity with Active Directory user administration.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Citrix, and printers installations.
• Strong troubleshooting for common hardware/peripheral issues.
• Able to perform repetitive technical tasks with accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, image, and deploy 60-80 desktop and laptop systems.
• Perform workstation setup, software installation, and basic system configuration.
• Transfer user data from legacy devices to new systems.
• Install and support Microsoft Office, Citrix, printers, and related peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Tier 1 hardware issues and peripherals.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation installations with proper cable management.
• Document and manage support requests using ServiceNow.
• Provide basic end-user guidance during equipment rollouts and installations.
