Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support / Endpoint Deployment Technician to support enterprise endpoint management, workstation deployments, and end-user technology services. You will image, configure, deploy, and support Windows devices while ensuring a seamless user experience during hardware refreshes and migrations.

The role emphasizes SCCM/MECM, ServiceNow, Windows admin, and large-scale enterprise desktop support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of desktop support, endpoint management, workstation deployment, or imaging environments.
• Hands-on SCCM / MECM administration and deployment experience.
• Experience using ServiceNow for ticket management, asset management, and workflow tracking.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and OS deployment, patching, and driver management.
• Familiarity with AD, GPO, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills for multi-unit support.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and deploy Windows desktop/laptop images using SCCM/MECM.
• Configure and deploy Windows 10/11 to enterprise devices.
• Package, test, and deploy software, patches, and security updates via SCCM.
• Manage hardware refreshes, provisioning, upgrades, and migrations.
• Troubleshoot imaging, deployment, OS, driver, app, and hardware issues.
• Coordinate staging, deployment scheduling, and end-user migration activities.
• Use ServiceNow for incident management, asset tracking, and documentation.
• Maintain asset inventory and IT asset management processes.
• Install and support peripherals: monitors, printers, docking stations, laptops, desktops, mobiles.
• Provide hands-on desktop support and migration assistance.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Service Desk teams on endpoint standards and security.
