Job summary

TECEZE is seeking a deskside support engineer in Salt Lake City for an onsite, hands-on role. You will handle basic networking, data center operations, monitoring tools, and hardware troubleshooting while supporting internal teams, customers, and vendors.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of IT infrastructure experience and strong communication skills to coordinate with remote teams. This position emphasizes SLA-based incident handling and practical hardware/network knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT infrastructure support experience.
• Hands-on experience with networking, data centers, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and ITSM platforms.
• Ability to communicate with remote teams and onsite stakeholders.
• Experience with Cisco and Riverbed equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site deskside support for internal teams, customers and vendors.
• Troubleshoot basic networking issues and resolve hardware problems.
• Assist with data center operations and monitor infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco/Riverbed devices and VLANs.
• Work with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and monitoring platforms (e.g., SolarWinds).
• Coordinate with remote teams and vendors during incidents.
• Perform periodic checks of IDF rooms for cooling and power status.
• Support Avaya VOIP phones and fiber link troubleshooting.
• Document issues and resolutions for SLA-based environment.
