Job summary

Jacobs in Robstown, TX seeks a Turnover Manager to lead field verification and documentation of systems on a data center project. You will oversee walkdowns with contractors and clients, coordinate turnover programs, and ensure adherence to testing and documentation requirements on an active construction site.

The role requires 6+ years turnover experience, the ability to read P&ID drawings, and strong cross-discipline coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of Construction Turnover experience on Pharma/Biotechnology projects, Data Center projects or equivalent.
• Experience leading walkdowns with sub-contractors and clients to drive punch list closure.
• Experience in a supervisory role with cross-discipline coordination.
• Onsite work capability and PPE familiarity; able to spend long hours on active construction sites.
• Onsite presence for the duration of the project; GDP familiarity and OSHA 10 certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate field verification and documentation of systems installed by Construction.
• Lead walkdowns with subcontractors and clients to close punch lists.
• Standardize turnover programs across multiple sites and ensure quality/documentation.
• Read P&IDs, line diagrams, panel layouts and CSA drawings per system scope.
• Collaborate with CQV and project controls to plan final turnover to the CQV team.
