Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking a supervisor to lead a customer service team on-site in Columbia, SC. The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with hours 9:00 am–5:30 pm, Monday–Friday.

You will recruit, coach, mentor, monitor performance, and address disciplinary issues promptly, driving staff morale, training, and career growth. Ensure compliant operations and timely responses across calls, emails, and inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year claims, customer service, and/or call center experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, hiring, coaching and mentoring; monitoring and evaluating staff; addressing disciplinary issues promptly.
• Foster high morale and professional growth through training and development.
