ThompsonGas is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Yakima, WA. This on-site role focuses on inbound/outbound calls, data entry, and maintaining customer relationships to support retention and acquisition. Strong communication and a customer-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Customer Service experience (Call center experience preferred).
• Sales experience strongly preferred; ability to upsell products in highly competitive environment a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on developing a positive rapport with customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to identify sales and service opportunities.
• Enter and update customer account information in CARGAS and MPXsystems.
• Process billing payments for walk-in customers and manage daily driver paperwork.
• Address customer issues including pricing, billing, products and account setup with professionalism.
• Provide timely and accurate information on order status and service offerings.
• Lead outbound calling to collect past-due accounts when applicable.
• Maintain knowledge of ThompsonGas products and safety policies.
