ThompsonGas in Andrews, TX is hiring a Customer Service Representative for an onsite, full-time role. You will handle inbound/outbound calls, support customer retention, and perform data entry with accuracy, supporting growth and daily operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to upsell in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience required
• Call center experience preferred
• Sales experience strongly preferred; upsell in competitive environment
• Experience with CARGAS/MPX systems preferred but not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong Microsoft Office and data entry skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ownership and accountability for resolving customer problems

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and uncover sales and service opportunities
• Evaluate sales methods to meet customer needs and generate leads
• Address issues including pricing, billing, products, and new accounts
• Provide accurate information on order status
• Lead outbound calls to collect from past due customers
• Enter and update customer data in systems
• Process billing payments for walk-in customers
• Handle daily driver paperwork
• Contribute to miscellaneous duties as assigned
