Job summary

Auburn Manufacturing, Inc. in Mechanic Falls, ME is seeking a Customer Service Representative with Export & Government Contracts experience to join our collaborative team onsite.

The role supports order management, quotations, product inquiries, and shipment coordination in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service mindset, be able to multitask in a fast-paced setting, and work with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of customer service, sales, or office experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to learn technical products and explain features to customers.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries by phone and email.
• Process customer orders, quotations, and sample requests.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain customer records, pricing information, and transaction details.
• Resolve routine concerns and escalate issues as needed.
• Support sales, marketing, and business development initiatives.
• Generate reports and analyze customer and sales data in NetSuite.
• Assist with export, government contract, and other customer service functions.
