Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, seeks a Construction Site Superintendent to ensure smooth project fulfillment after design. The role emphasizes on-site leadership for HVAC/mechanical and commercial construction, with strong communication across the team.

The supervisor will manage schedules, safety, subcontractors, and commissioning efforts, traveling to job sites as needed. This position requires on-site presence during heavy construction and may involve office or remote work during other phases.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction management for HVAC/mechanical and commercial construction.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• On-site leadership and coordination across teams.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Contract Activities: Review project drawings for scope, constructability, and cost savings; assist with pre-construction walkthroughs and subcontractor selection.
• Construction: Develop construction schedule and manage subs to hit milestones; develop project safety binder and review with subcontractors; administer safety program; assist with equipment lead times; order construction items; lead construction review meetings; weekly field reports; assist with commissioning; register equipment for warranties; schedule start-ups and ensure startup sheets are completed.
• Post Construction: Address project issues; help resolve warranty issues; develop O&M manuals and as-builts.
