Job summary

CMTA is seeking a Construction Site Superintendent to ensure smooth fulfillment of contracts after design. The ideal candidate will have HVAC/mechanical and commercial construction experience, plus strong verbal and written communication skills.

The role involves on-site leadership during heavy construction, with some remote or office work during other periods, and travel to job sites is required. Responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating subs, safety programs, and owner training.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing HVAC/mechanical systems on commercial projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain schedules.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings for scope, constructability, and cost savings.
• Develop construction schedule and manage subs to hit milestones.
• Lead construction review meetings and prepare weekly field reports.
• Administer safety program and ensure site compliance.
• Coordinate equipment lead times and order items as needed.
• Schedule factory start-ups and assist with warranties and owner training.
• Develop O&M manuals and as-builts after project completion.
