D.R. Horton is seeking an Assistant Superintendent-IS to support the construction site management for new homes. The role emphasizes scheduling, inspections, and ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery with strong customer service.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 2 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read plans. The position involves frequent site visits and collaboration with subcontractors to deliver high-quality homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 2 years of related experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to drive between sites.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential.
• Ability to read plans and other construction documents.
• Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendent with managing the construction site.
• Schedule and conduct inspections with inspectors.
• Walk completed homes prior to homeowner walkthroughs and closings.
• Ensure subcontractors meet quality, safety and cost controls.
• Enforce safety standards and site cleanliness.
• Maintain client satisfaction through a superior customer experience.
