D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support on-site management of home construction projects.

The role focuses on supervising subcontractors, maintaining quality standards, managing safety, and coordinating inspections to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED with 6 months to 2 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 6 months to 2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive among construction sites.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read plans and construction documents.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with management of the community job site.
• Schedule and walk inspections with inspectors.
• Conduct homeowner orientation and walks to ensure homeowner satisfaction.
• Ensure subcontractors are managed with quality, safety, scheduling and cost control.
