Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support site management for home construction. You will schedule inspections, supervise subcontractors, ensure quality and safety, and maintain homeowner satisfaction through timely communication and issue resolution.

The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks, read blueprints, and drive among construction sites with a valid license. On-site work with potential overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; construction/site experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read plans and manage subcontractors effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist the superintendent in managing the community job site and subcontractors.
• Schedule and conduct inspections and homeowner walkthroughs.
• Ensure quality workmanship aligns with plans and schedule; monitor costs.
