D.R. Horton is seeking an Assistant Superintendent in Visalia, CA. You will assist the Superintendent with managing the community job site, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction throughout home construction.

Responsibilities include inspections, schedule adherence, and homeowner walk-throughs, with a focus on delivering a high-quality product on time and within budget. Strong communication and planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to 2 years of related experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and willingness to drive among construction sites.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to read plans and other construction documents.
• Require minimum supervision and ability to create a systematic approach in carrying out assignments.
• Ability to converse with customers and all levels of management.
• Ability to utilize DRH Construction applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Inspect each home daily to assure workmanship quality and schedule adherence.
• Schedule and walk inspections with inspectors.
• Walk completed homes before homeowner walk-through and closing to verify completion.
• Conduct homeowner orientation and additional walks for satisfaction.
• Aid Superintendent in managing subcontractors for quality, safety, and cost control.
• Enforce site safety program and subcontractor compliance with standards.
• Maintain DR Horton cleanliness standards on sites.
• Assist in managing construction materials to prevent damage, waste, and theft.
• Support schedule and deliver high quality product on time and within budget.
• Provide superior customer service during all construction phases.
• Develop relations with subcontractors and homeowners.
• Develop knowledge of building codes and construction terminology.
