Job summary

Fres-co System USA, Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking an Assistant Project Superintendent to support the Senior Project Superintendent on construction projects.

You will help manage field activities, schedules, safety programs and quality control under supervision, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to keep projects on track. Ideal candidates have a four-year degree in a related field or 3–5 years of field experience, strong PC skills, and familiarity with scheduling and project

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent, or 3–5 years’ field experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with scheduling software (MS Project or P6) and PM software (Prolog, Viewpoint, CMiC).
• Familiar with tools (Bluebeam, Plan Grid, Safety Mojo, BIM 360 Glue).
• OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification and First Aid/ CPR.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Project Superintendent and team on field activities.
• Support development and maintenance of project schedules.
• Help implement safety programs and SWPPP measures.
• Coordinate procurement and deliveries of materials.
• Document site activities and prepare daily reports.
• Assist with punch lists and completion items.
• Attend weekly Foreman meetings and safety meetings.
• Monitor quality control and change orders processes.
